Interconnections

Instruments fitted with an IEEE 488
interface communicate with each other
through a standard set of interconnecting
cables, as specified in the IEEE 488.1
Standard document.
The IEEE-488 interface socket, J101, is
fitted on the rear panel. It accommodates
the specified connector, whose pin
designations are also standardized as
shown in Table 6.2
