4. Adjust the applied pressure by turning the print-head pressure adjustment screws to achieve a
consistent print contrast across the media.
Note:
To avoid removing the ribbon, carefully pull slack in the ribbon and move it
out of the way to reach the pressure adjustment screws.
Note:
To prevent ribbon smudging when using narrow media, it may be
necessary to increase the pressure on the inner (closest to center plate) print-
head pressure adjustment screw.
5. Print a label and examine the printed image.
6. Press the FEED button until the label registers with the gap just forward of the print head.
Note:
When changing label sizes, the printer may need to feed 2-4 labels to
register correctly.

Print another label. If the problem persists, readjust the print head leveling.
8. If the heat setting, print head leveling (cam) and/or print head pressure adjustments do not
result in consistent print across the label, it may be necessary to adjust the Print Head Burn
Line. See

9. If ribbon wrinkle persists, the ribbon idler may require adjusting. See
