    Types of Media Types of Media Brady strongly recommends the use of Brady-brand supplies for continuous high-quality printing. A wide range of paper, polypropylene, polyester, and vinyl stock has been specifically engineered to enhance the printing capabilities of the printer and to prevent premature printhead wear.

    Operations Load Ribbon Load Ribbon Always use ribbon that is wider than the media to protect the printhead from wear. For direct thermal printing, do not load ribbon in the printer. The standard Thermal Transfer option (black ribbon spindle) uses ribbon coated on the outside.
