Accessing SPM
Press any key to display the SPM Main Menu shown below.

NOTE:
The function keys shown on either side of the display are included
here for quick reference. See "SPM Screens" for details on using
the PC keys in SPM.
If the SPM Main Menu does not appear or if the information on the
screen is garbled, press any key again.
If the COM Port (communications port) screen appears instead of the
SPM Main Menu, it indicates that the SPM software has not been
initialized. See "Initializing the SPM Software."

Connection
The method you use to access SPM by modem depends on whether you are
programming on site (locally) or from a remote location.
If you are on site, the modem must be connected to an 012 or 016
module on the control unit. To establish a connection to the control
unit's internal modem, dial   .
