Installing or Replacing a PCIe* Riser Card

Riser card, you must first take the server out of service, turn off all peripheral devices
connected to the system, turn off the system by pressing the power button, and unplug the
AC power cord from the system or wall outlet.
You have the option to install one of two PCIe* Riser cards into your server system:
A low-profile PCI Express* riser with one PCI Express x16 slot.
Note: To eliminate the possibility of installing the replacement connector on the wrong side of
the PCIe* Riser assembly, replace one connector at a time.
