1. Start the File Manager.
2. From the Disk menu, select Connect Network Drive.
3. Select a drive letter or accept the default.
4. In the Path field, type an entry for your server:
\\hp hhhhhh\<path>
hhhhhh are the last six digits of your server's LAN hard-
ware (MAC) address.
<path> is the path of the resource that provides your
selected access point on the CD-ROM server.
• For root access, type root
• For cd folder access, type cd
• For CD-ROM access, type the specific volume name, for
example, cd_12345
5. Check Reconnect at Startup if you wish to use the same
mapping the next time you start your computer.
6. Click the OK button. The server is ready for use.
