Setup – Setting Pressure Alarm Levels
1. Select the desired unit of measurement. See page
51.
2. Reset peak pressures to zero. The readings reset
to zero when you exit Setup Mode.
3. Press the Manual/Spray Mode key to go to Spray
Mode. The mode key light will come on.
4. Go through some normal spray operations:
Premier pump pressurized, no guns spraying
One, two, or three guns spraying
5. Change to Manual Mode, then use the key to
change to Setup Mode.
6. In setup level 4, press key 3 on the keypad to
access the Peak Pressures Display function. See
Fig. 89.
7. Press the arrow keys to toggle through the peak
pressure readings, and record the readings.
8. As a rule, start by setting the values 20% higher
than the peak values recorded for:
High Pressure A or B, see page 40.
Maximum Pressure Differential, see page 41.
If the optional low pressure sensors are installed,
start by setting the value for Low Pressure A or B
20% lower than the peak value recorded.
NOTE: The alarm values can be set closer to the
peak values to increase the ratio assurance and
the sensitivity of the failure detection.
9. Check the mix ratio as instructed in the Operation
Manual 308875.
10. If the mix ratio is okay, but false alarms occur
during spraying, change the corresponding setup
value to eliminate the alarm.
