Pressure Relief Procedure

Follow the Pressure Relief Procedure
whenever you see this symbol.
The F4 Series equipment stays pressurized until
pressure is manually relieved. To help prevent
serious injury from pressurized fluid, such as skin
injection, splashing fluid and moving parts, follow the
Pressure Relief Procedure when you stop dispensing
and before cleaning, checking, or servicing the
equipment.
An empty container should always be placed under the
prime valve and the ratio check valve openings before
using them to keep material from dispensing onto the
machine.
NOTE: There is pressure on each side of both the A and
B dosing valves. Pressure must be relieved on the pump
side and the stack side of the dosing valves.
1. To relieve pressure at the pump, turn off the system
air slider valve.
