WARNING
ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD
To reduce the risk of electric shock, the
air to the air driven power supply must
be shut off before servicing the control.

Blinking or Blank Display

NOTE: Do not exceed 100 psi (0.7 MPa, 7 bar) air
supply pressure to the SuperCat air driven power
supply.
Blinking Display
A blinking display is caused by low voltage to the
circuit board. Low voltage may indicate that the air
supply pressure is too low or the air line filter is dirty.
Check the air supply pressure or replace the air line
filter with 114228 Air Filter Element.
Blank Display
A blank display indicates that there is no voltage to the
circuit board. This could be caused by failure of the
power supply turbine alternator (118) or filter (132).
See Fig. 113, page 92. It could also occur if the air
supply pressure is set above 100 psi (0.7 MPa, 7 bar).
If the alternator is spinning too quickly, the power
supply output will shut off to alert you to take action
and avoid damaging the alternator.
Make sure the air pressure to the power supply is not
set above 100 psi (0.7 MPa, 7 bar). Service the power
supply as instructed on page 92 if necessary.
Replacing the Circuit Board, Keypad,
System Schematic Panel or Wire Harness
1. Follow the Pressure Relief Procedure on
page 20.
2. Turn off the air to the control (red handled ball
valve).
3. Put on the grounding strap (62) provided.
4. Loosen the two screws (135) from the access door
(125) to allow the door to drop forward.
Service
5. Disconnect the wire harnesses from the two circuit
board connectors.
6. Remove the four screws (125f) and remove the
circuit board cover (125b).
7. Disconnect the ribbon cable.
Replacing the Keypad or System Schematic Panel
8. Pull the keypad (125g) or system schematic panel
(125e) off the front of the access door (125), and
slide the ribbon cable out of the slot. See Fig. 105.
9. Remove the adhesive liner from the back of the
keypad (125g) or system schematic panel (125e)
to expose the sticky backing.
10. Slide the ribbon cable through the slot, align the
keypad (125g) or system schematic panel (125e)
with the recessed area on the access door, and
press it into place.
