Temperature Limit Sensors

Problem
Temperature Limit Sensor Alarm
Alarm does not sound
NOTE: There is no audible alarm
in manual mode; this is normal.
Troubleshooting
Operating Condition
Fluid temperature is above high limit
or below low limit, schematic sensor
light is red.
Fluid temperature is above high limit
or below low limit, schematic sensor
light is red.
Cause/Solution
Verify that the temperature sensor
option was selected correctly. See
Setup, page 55.
Check the sensor wiring connections.

Check the operation of the sensor by
switching the wire connection with the
temperature sensor that operates.

If sensor has failed, replace sensor.

Check continuity of temperature sen-
sor light. See page 73.
Replace circuit board. See Service,

Check heaters. See heater manual.
Check the operation of the sensor by
switching the wire connection with the
