7. Detailed Description

• If the image is to be magnified, the speed of the vertical motor is automatically adjusted to account

for the changes in scanning speed, so magnification will not be affected.

The machine can also be set not to release the trailing edge of the original at the end of the scan job.

This prevents the original from falling on the floor. The trailing edge is held in the nip of the exit roller until

it can be removed manually. This feature can be switched on/off with SP4-975 (Prevent Original
