Roll the mower deck forward and away from the
traction unit.

Park the machine on a level surface.

Tilt the hopper back.
3.
Shut off the engine and remove the key.
4.
Remove the grass chute; refer to

Roll the mower deck rearward to the traction
unit.
6.
Install the lynch pin and clevis pin to secure the
lift arms on each side; refer to
Removing the Mower Deck (page

Connect the universal joint of the driveshaft from
the mower-deck gearbox; refer to

8.
Install the grass chute; refer to

Tilt the seat rearward.

Start the engine.

Lower the hopper.

Raise the mower deck until the castor wheels
