Cleaning the Rear Slots in
the Hopper Door
Service Interval: Before each use or daily
1.
Disengage the blade-control switch (PTO) and
engage the parking brake.
2.
Raise the hopper
position; refer to
Figure 140
3.
Dump the hopper
full dumped position, with the rear door hanging
freely; refer to
Dumping the Hopper (page
Note:
The hopper door automatically unlatches
when dumping the hopper.
4.
Shut off the engine, remove the key, and wait
for all moving parts to stop before leaving the
operating position.
5.
Secure the raised hopper with the safety locks;
refer to
Figure 41

6.
Using compressed air, clear the grass and
debris from the slots in the bottom of the internal
metal plate of the hopper door.
