2.1 Evaporator, ventilator and
condensate tray
The evaporator, ventilator and condensate drain must be
cleaned of contamination (leaves, twigs, etc.). Contamination
on the evaporator must be washed away with a jet of water
(max. 3 bar). To do this, open the upper covering panels. The
lower covering panels must be kept closed when cleaning the
device.

Correct any deformation of the evaporator fins (air cooler) using
a suitable fin comb.
NOTE
Direct the jet of water horizontally.
Check whether the condensate tray is clean; dirt residue and
foreign objects must be removed.
2.2 Connections, electrical
components
Open the heat pump's switch box.
Check the electrical components and terminal connections in
the switch box:
General visual inspection.
Are the terminal connections secure?
Check that the plug connections are correctly fitted.
Are there traces of charring/scorching?
Is there any contact corrosion?
Check for damage on the switch box, in particular:
Has it been correctly fitted?
Is the gasket on the cover OK?
Are the fastening screws secure?
Have the cable feed-throughs been securely fitted?
Have the cables been securely fitted (pull on them by
hand)?
Immediately replace any faulty gaskets.
Cable feed-throughs must have been securely fitted.
Immediately replace any damaged or non-functional cable
feed-throughs.
Immediately replace any faulty or missing screws.

Opening the connection box
In order to open the cover plate on the connection box, the top
cover panel must first be removed. For this purpose, open both
screws and unhook the panel by pulling it back. The three
screws of the cover panel for the connection box can then be
loosened and the panel can be removed by pulling it forward.

Make sure that the covering panels are removed from the de-
vice for the shortest possible period of time.
Fit the panels correctly again for longer pauses in work (> 1 h)
and once the work is complete.

2.3 Interior of the heat pump

Check the interior of the heat pump for any damage, contami-
nation and unintended leakages.
