4.2.2 High-pressure limiter
Actuate the mobile cut-off device and safeguard this state.
The internal control and supply voltage has now been com-
pletely interrupted. Voltage is still present between the supply
points and the cut-off mechanism – see the circuit diagram!
At expansion valve -M7, remove the coil with the connected ca-
ble.
 Remove plug –N0-J17 (coil of 4-way reversing valve).
Switch off motor protection switch -Q1 and -Q3

 To test the high-pressure limiter (-F4.1), electrically bridge
the high-pressure monitor (-F4.2). To do this, short-circuit
contacts –XF4.2/2 and –XF4.2/3 (terminal box in compres-
sor compartment); see Cap. 5.6 on page 28 "Excerpt of cir-
cuit diagram".
To perform the test, the system must be brought to high

pressure. To do this, interrupt the heating water flow by
closing a shut-off device in the heating/cooling water cir-
cuit.

Restore the power supply to the heat pump using the mobile
cut-off device.
Once the control device has initialised

(approx. 1-2 min), select the "in/outputs" menu by press-
ing the  or  keys on the control panel and confirm with 




Example
The displayed pressure "pC" is used to test the high-pressure
limiter and high-pressure monitor safety equipment as de-
scribed below.
 Closing motor protection switch -Q1 and -Q3 immediately
starts the compressor groups. Upon reaching the limiter's
switch-off value, contactor –K0 drops out.
The compressor groups are switched off
Read off and note down the switching value on the control

panel (connected to -N0-J15).
After successfully testing the function of the heat pump,

switch off again using the mobile cut-off device and safe-
guard this state.

Open motor protection switch -Q1 and -Q3.

 Remove the electrical bridge between –XF4.2/2 and
–XF4.2/3 for the high-pressure monitor (F4.2).
Close the terminal box correctly.

Press the reset button on the high-pressure limiter.

