Particularly important information in these instructions is

CAUTION!

General notes
CAUTION!
The
device
contains
refrigerant. Avoid ignition sources in the
danger area!
CAUTION!
The work area must be protected with
mobile gas detectors before starting work.
This is required both before and whilst
carrying out the work, so as to ensure
dangerous concentrations of flammable
refrigerant at the device can be detected
and the maintenance staff are able to take
the necessary steps (deactivating the
external power supply, mobile ventilation if
required).
CAUTION!
Work on the heat pump must only be
performed
by
technicians authorised by Glen Dimplex.
CAUTION!
It is prohibited to remain in the direct
vicinity of the device during storms (risk of
lightning)!
CAUTION!
Work outdoors on electrical equipment or
live components may only be carried out in
dry weather conditions. In the event of
precipitation (rain, snow, etc.), all such work
must be stopped.

CAUTION!
Use personal protective equipment in
accordance with German Social Accident
Insurance (DGUV) regulation 100-500 Sec.
2.35.
German Social Accident Insurance (DGUV)
regulation 3 must be complied with.
CAUTION!
The refrigeration circuit must not be
damaged.
CAUTION!
Before opening the device or switch box,
the machine must be de-energised and
secured against being switched on again.
Whilst performing the maintenance work, it
may be sufficient to interrupt the power
supplies
(supply
voltage) using the mobile cut-off device.
When this happens, voltage is still present
between the supply points and the
corresponding cut-off mechanisms – see
the circuit diagram!
NOTE
All maintenance work must only be carried out by an after-
sales service technician authorised by Glen Dimplex who is
trained in handling flammable refrigerants, has the necessary
experience and fulfils the legal requirements in the relevant
country where the refrigerating system is operated.
NOTE
Please read all the information provided in these instructions
carefully.
NOTE
Store the instructions carefully and pass them on to future
operators if required.
NOTE
The
maintenance
work
described here are limited to the heat pump supplied by Glen
Dimplex Deutschland.
NOTE
Before starting the maintenance work on the relevant
component, the paint protector must be checked to ensure it
is in the original state. Paint protectors that have to be
removed for the maintenance work must be mounted again
once the work is complete.
NOTE
Before starting the maintenance, the system log book must
be observed with respect to repairs and modifications already
carried out.
