Maintenance cycle
As a general rule, a maintenance interval of 6 months must be
complied with. If the device is operated for less than 3000
hours each year and a remote monitoring system intended for
this purpose is being used, the maintenance interval can be ex-
tended to 12 months.
The maintenance records (see the log book) must be stored to-
gether with these instructions for the entire operating period.
A leak test should be carried out on the device during these in-
spections using leak detectors suitable for the refrigerant used.
Components with plastic parts must be protected from impact
(e.g. from tools) to prevent damage to these components. The
device covers must be mounted again correctly once the work
is complete.

Leakage tightness test
This is required each time maintenance work is performed on
the system.
The leakage tightness test must be recorded in the system's log
book.
Other maintenance work
Shorter intervals can also be defined depending on the operat-
ing conditions and the installation site.
Recurring tests/inspections must be carried out on the basis of
the legal regulations in force in the respective destination coun-
try.
To prevent faults due to sediment in the heat exchanger of the
heat pump, ensure that the heat exchanger in the heating sys-
tem cannot be contaminated. Should operating malfunctions
due to contamination still occur, however, the system should
be cleaned as described.
Safety area
Only authorised personnel are permitted to enter the safety
area as described in the installation and operating instructions.
