Refrigeration checks

Device is still de-energised!
CAUTION!
The work area must continue to be
protected with mobile gas detectors. To do
this,
the
gas
detector
positioned on the heat pump and in
operation,
to
ensure
concentration of flammable refrigerant can
be detected.

3.1 Leakage tightness check

Enter the type of refrigerant and the fill quantity into the main-
tenance record. Perform the leakage tightness test using the
leak detector.
NOTE
The leak detector must be suitable for the refrigerant being
used and must be able to reliably detect a leakage rate of <
3 g/a.
Check the 4-way valve carefully. Pay particular attention to all
solder joints on the valve, i.e. also pilot lines, capillary lines and
solder joints on the valve body.

3.2 Refrigerating equipment

Perform a visual inspection. There must be no corrosion on the
equipment. Check for damage and that the cables have been
correctly connected. Check that the electrical connections
have been securely fitted.
NOTE
When performing the inspection, ensure that the equipment
casing (e.g. plastic) is not damaged.
