LAN-Fax Result by E-mail

If you entered a user code in the [User
Settings] dialog box, the result can be
sent to you by e-mail, provided your
e-mail address is programmed in the
machine.
Sending Fax Documents from Computers
Note
❒ You can select whether or not a
LAN-Fax Result is sent to the spec-
ified e-mail address. See p.164 "Us-
er Parameters" (switch 20, bit 7). If
the message failed to be sent to one
or more of the specified destina-
tions, the result is sent regardless
of this setting.

LAN-Fax Result Report

In case of being set at the LAN-Fax re-
sult e-mail report, if there be any insuf-
ficient configuration in the e-mail
menu on this machine, or if "Auto
Specify Sender Name" is set to "Off",
the LAN-Fax result notification e-mail
will not be transmitted, and the LAN-
Fax Result Report is printed out. See
"Setting File Transfer", Network Guide,
p.116 "Printing and Saving". If the
"LAN-Fax Result e-mail Report", or
"E-mail TX Results" of "Sender Set-
tings" in "Transmission Mode" has
not been set at "Yes", the LAN-Fax Re-
sult Report is printed out.

❒ Whether or not the LAN-Fax Result
Report is printed out, can be config-
ured at "User Parameters". See
p.164 "User Parameters"(Switch
20, bit 0).
❒ When executing [Send] or [Send &
Print] with the LAN-Fax Driver,
and when the LAN-Fax Result Re-
port has not been arrived, the
Communication Result Report is
printed out. See p.80 "Communi-
cation Result Report (Memory
Transmission)"
