remove the console or the data cable from the outrigger tube.
3. Connect a know good condition upper data cable to the console and lower data cable
connectors.
a. If the issue is resolved, replace the original upper data cable and reinstall the
left outrigger tube.
b. If the replacement cable does not correct the problem, continue procedure.
4. Remove these rear drive covers: the drive cover access panel, top, left, and right
drive covers (see
5. Disconnect the original lower data cable from the upper data cable and
replace with a known good condition lower data cable. For this test, it is not necessary
to route the test data cable through the main frame weldment.
a. If the lower data cable corrects the problem, replace the cable.
b. If the test lower data cable does not correct the problem, re-connect the original
lower data cable to the lower PCA. Reinstall the left outrigger tube and recon-
nect the upper data cable to the lower data cable and console connectors.
Continue procedure.
6. Reinstall the rear drive covers: the drive cover access panel, top, left, and right drive
covers (see "Covers and Panels Replacement" on
