4. Remove the four Tinnerman Palnuts that fasten the pedal to the stairarm mounting
plate. Forcefully lift the pedal to remove. There are two strips of double sided tape
helping to hold the pedal to the stairarm. So it require some lifting force to remove the
pedal.
Installation
5. Remove the two strips of double sided tape and replace with two new strips of double
sided foam tape, Precor part number 39874-101.
6. Carefully position and install the pedal onto the stairarm mounting plate. Secure using
the four Tinnerman Palnuts. These are plastic mounting studs, so be careful to not
over tighten.
Torque

Torque is a measure of the force that can cause an object to rotate about an axis. Bolt/nut
example: 5 NM torque is equivalent to 5 newton's of force applied one meter from the center
of the bolt, 6 ft-lb is equivalent to 6 lbs of force applied 1 foot away from the center of the
bolt.
