5.2 Connecting SITRANS LR200
If you want to rotate the enclosure, use the 2 mm Allen key to loosen the locking ring.
1. Strip the cable jacket for approximately 70 mm (2.75") from the end of the cable.
2. Thread the wires through the gland
3. Strip/remove conductor jacket to 8 mm (0.31") from the end.
4. Connect the wires to the terminals as shown: the polarity is identified on the terminal block.
5. Terminal block suggested screw torque is 3.5 lb-inch (0.4 Nm).
6. Ground the instrument according to local regulations.
7. Tighten the gland to form a good seal.
8. Close the lid and secure the locking ring before programming and device configuration.

Note
For devices with Profibus PA:
• PROFIBUS PA must be terminated at both extreme ends of the cable for it to work
properly.
