Coating roll

Remove the orange tabs and any packing material
from the fuser compartment.

Rotate the tabs toward each other as shown.

Pull the tabs up to remove them from the fuser.

Remove the coating roll from its package.

Remove the orange tape and packing material
from the coating roll.
Make sure all of the plastic wrapping is removed
from the coating roll.
Install the coating roll
