Place printer on a flat, stable surface in a well–
ventilated area.
Allow space in front of printer for easy tray removal
and paper loading.
The following guidelines will help to ensure proper
printer operation and prevent print quality prob-
lems. They will also extend the life of your printer
and supplies.
Do not place the printer:
– In direct sunlight
– Near heat sources or air conditioners
– In dusty or dirty environments
Find a convenient location for the Quick Refer-
ence card:

Locate a visible spot in the vicinity of the
printer or on the printer for the Quick Refer-
ence sleeve.

Remove the protective paper from the back of
the plastic sleeve.

Firmly attach the adhesive-backed sleeve to the
designated area.
