The assembly of the
duplex unit is easier if you have
access to the rear and sides of
the printer.

Caution!
If you are installing
the optional duplex unit after ini-
tial printer setup, turn the printer
off, and disconnect the power
cord and printer cables.

For two-sided color or monochrome printing, your printer
supports an optional duplex unit. If you are installing the
duplex unit, complete the following steps.

Remove the duplex unit from its packing material.
Remove the orange tape and any additional pack-
ing material from the duplex unit components.
