NEUMATIC
This Section provides not only pneumatic connection information, but also important
information about the gases required for accurate calibration. Pneumatic flow diagrams
are shown in Section 2.3.3. Calibration instructions are provided in Section 4.
Before making the pneumatic connections, carefully note the following cautionary and
special messages:

Instrument ID's must not be duplicated.
The (communication) Host instrument can only
address one instrument at a time.
Teledyne API recommends setting up the first link,
between the Host and the first analyzer, and testing
it before setting up the rest of the chain.

ONNECTIONS
CAUTION – General Safety Hazard
• Ozone (O
) is a toxic gas. Do not vent calibration gas or sample

gas into enclosed areas.
• Obtain a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for this material. Read and
rigorously follow the safety guidelines described there.
• Sample and calibration gases should only come into contact with
PTFE (Teflon), FEP, or glass
• Venting should be outside the shelter or immediate area
surrounding the instrument.
• It is important to conform to all safety requirements regarding
exposure to O
.
