CHAPTER 8 PRIOR TO SET-UP (SCANNER AND PRINTER)
4. Reading the Functions Edition (On-Line Manual) for this machine
(1) In case of Windows
1. Insert the CD-ROM that is included with the printer into the CD-
ROM drive of your computer.
2. Click on [Documentation] under [Main Menu] on the left side of
the screen shown below.
* If this screen doesn't appear after you insert the CD-ROM,
open the CD-ROM window to access its contents and double-
click on the [setup.exe] file.
3. Click on [Operation Manual] and then on [KM-4850w].
4. Click on [Functions Manual]. Acrobat Reader will start up and the
Functions Edition (On-Line Manual) will open.

(2) In case of Macintosh
1. Insert the CD-ROM that is included with the printer into the CD-
ROM drive of your computer.
2. Double-Click on the icon for the CD-ROM disk, and then, double-
click [Welcome.pdf] for the shown window. Kyocera Mita Digital
Library screen will appear.
3. Click on [KM-4850w] for the shown screen.
The on-line manual of the selected will appear.
