Chapter 1: Installation

Output fusing and user current draw

The current draw on the door controller for all user devices must not exceed 3 A.
This value excludes battery charging and standalone board current.
The door controller will shut down if this is exceeded.
In some environments, further restrictions on user current apply as detailed in
"Operating temperature" on page 39.
On-board fuses provide over-current protection for devices as described in
Table 4 below. The numbers in the Item number column refer to items in
Figure 12 on page 13.
