Type the region number directly into the field.
Note:
The door must be opened for this to be effective.
RTE options
The RTE options define the operation of the RTE button (exit button).
There are the following options for setting up an RTE button:
The request-to-exit button is wired to the RTE input defined on the Hardware
tab for the door. See the "RTE input" section on page 98.
A reader assigned to the door is defined as having an RTE input. See the
"Enable RTE" section on page 109.
Note:
There must be an RTE schedule defined for RTE functionality to work.
RTE control
Defines the operation of the RTE button:
RTE time door open: When the RTE button is pressed, the door will unlock for
the Access time programmed on the Access tab for the door. See the "Unlock
time" section on page 99.
RTE holds door open: Allows the door to be held unlocked for as long as the
Request To Exit button is pressed or for the programmed unlock time,
whichever is longer.
Note:
This functionality only works for onboard or DGP input used as RTE.
Dedicated RAS RTE input will not hold the door open.
RTE shunts only: When the RTE button is pressed, the input is shunted.
RTE schedule
The RTE schedule controls the times when an RTE button will unlock a door to
allow exit. When the schedule is valid, a user can press the RTE button and the
door will unlock.
Select the schedule by clicking the Browse "...".
IN RTE disabled when set
This option controls the ability to use the RTE button on any IN reader to open
the door if any of the areas assigned to the door (via an access control level) are
set, i.e. armed. If any of the areas assigned to the door are set then the RTE
button will not unlock the door.
OUT RTE disabled when secure
This option controls the ability to use the RTE button on any OUT reader to open
the door if any of the areas assigned to the door (via an access control level) are
set, i.e. armed. If any of the areas assigned to the door are set then the RTE
button will not unlock the door.
