DEFAULT CONFIGURATION PROFILES
The DSU III ARdc contains four different user profiles (sets of configura-
tions options) stored in read-only memory (see Table B-1). The unit is
shipped from the factory with profile 1 loaded into the nonvolatile con-
figuration memory. See Chapter 2 "Installation" and Chapter 9 "Manual
Command" for more information.
Profile 1
Profile 1 is configured for a 56 kbps, synchronous, point-to-point or dial
up operation with a V.35 connector.
Profile 2
Use profile 2 for a 56 kbps, synchronous, point-to-point or dial up opera-
tion with an EIA-232 connector.
Profile 3
Use profile 3 for a SW56, asynchronous operation with CS and CD forced
on.
Profile 4
Use profile 4 for a SW56 operation with DTR idle when off.
