Configure the startup parameters

To configure the SNMP manager list

Use the SNMP manager list to specify IP addresses that are allowed to connect to the SNMP agent.

From the Configuration tab, double-click the Administrator Access folder to expand it.

Select SNMP from the Administrator Access folder.

Select the General tab. It is normally selected by default.

Click Add... in the SNMP Manager List area. The Add Manager dialog box displays.

Enter the IP addressa in the Manager IP Address field.

Click Ok.

Repeat steps 3 to 6 to add another manager IP address.

To add a new group

This procedure provides the steps to add a new group for your system.

From the Configuration tab, double-click the Administrator Access folder to expand it.

Select Accounts and Privileges from the Administrator Access folder.

Select the View by Groups tab.

Click Add... . The Add Group dialog box displays.

Enter a name for the group in the Group field.

Click Ok.

Repeat steps 4 to 6 to add more groups.

To configure group privileges

From the Configuration tab, double-click the Administrator Access folder to expand it.

Select Accounts and Privileges from the Administrator Access folder.

Select the View by Groups tab.

Select a group from the Groups list. The Details for Group displays in the lower pane.

In the Details for Group pane (General tab), click Add... in the Group Privileges section. A list
of available privileges displays.

Select the privilege(s) from the list. Use the Shift key or Ctrl key to select multiples privileges
from the list.

Click Ok.

Repeat steps 4 to 7 to configure privileges for another group.
