Verify that the dip switches for your MBMs are in the default factory positions as stated below.
Caution: The media bay module (MBM) dip switches must remain in their
default factory position. Any required modifications to the MBM settings are
made through the software.
If you are installing a DTM, DDIM, BRIM, 4X16, DSM16, DSM32, or ASM8, ensure that the
switches are all on. This is the default setting for the MBM switches. After you have set the

If you are installing a GATM4 or GATM8, check that the switches on both the right and left sets of
dip switches are all on. This is the default setting for the MBM switches. After you have set the

1 For the dip switches on the left side, at the rear of the module, set all of the switches to on.
