ALTERNATOR
LEFT CRANKCASE COVER
INSTALLATION
Place the alternator wire and grommet in the
groove.
Install the dowel pins and gasket.
Install the left crankcase cover.
TORQUE: 8-12 N·m
(0.8-1.2 ko-m. 6-9 ft.Jb)
NOTE
Be careful not to pinch the alternator or neu·
tral switch wire during installation.
Connect the neutral switch wire to the neutral
switch tenninal.
Install the drive sprocket cover.
TORQUE : 8-12 N·m (0.8-1 .2 kg.m, 6-9 ft-Ib)
Connect and route the alternator wire.
Install the fuel tank and seat.
