Selecting the port
1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then select Printers.
2. Right-click the printer icon and then select Properties.
3. Click the Ports tab and then select the port you have set with the NET USE command.

Follow the steps below to set a printer.
Note:
Make sure that the printer driver is installed on your Macintosh before following the steps below.
See the manual shipped with your printer for instruction on how to install the printer driver.
Mac OS X
Bonjour/Rendezvous printing
1. Open the Applications folder.
2. Open the Utilities folder.
3. Open Print Center (for Mac OS X 10.2 or below) or Printer Setup Utility (for Mac OS
X 10.3 or later), and then click Add.
4. For Mac OS X 10.4, select the printer model that is connected with Bonjour.
For Mac OS X 10.2 or 10.3, select Rendezvous from the drop down list, and then
select the printer model from the list.
Note:
For Mac OS X 10.4, if your printer is not displayed with Bonjour, click More Printers, select
Bonjour from the drop down list, and then select the printer model.
5. Click Add.
TCP/IP printing
1. Open the Applications folder.
2. Open the Utilities folder.
3. Open Print Center (for Mac OS X 10.2 or below) or Printer Setup Utility (for Mac OX
10.3 or later), and then click Add.
