Fuel Tank Removal (continued)

1. Park the machine on a level surface and disengage the PTO. Stop the
engine, wait for all moving parts to stop, and remove the key. Engage the
parking brake.
2. Disconnect the battery by removing the negative cable first, then the positive
cable from the battery.
3. Close the fuel supply valve.

4. Remove the right and left side consoles.

5. Remove the seat assembly.
6. Remove the 2 bolts and nuts securing the fuel tank retainer plate.
7. Remove the fuel tank retainer plate by lifting the rear of the plate toward the
front of the machine and sliding the tabs up and out of the frame slots.
8. Disconnect the fuel supply line and the 2 vent lines from the fuel tank.
