Overview
This panel allows to manage connected content devices.
The content settings window allows to configure the list of servers, remote directories and libraries where the
content is stored. All these assets will be called 'devices'.

How to create

While in Configuration > Media sever > Content, click on the top right on the + (reference 1) to create a
new device.

Readable name of the remote device/server.
Protocol used for communication and transfer with the remote device / server:

FTP: File Transfer Protocol
•
NFS: Network File System (for Unix like systems)
•
SMB: Server Message Block (for Windows and Unix like systems using
Samba)
IP address of the remote device/server in the theater network.
Port number used for communication
Login used by the ICMP-X to establish communication with the remote device.
Password used by the ICMP-X to establish communication with the remote
device.
Path where the contents are stored on the remote device/server.
Parameters used by the ICMP-X to establish communication with the remote
device.
