Web Communicator – Graphical User Interface (GUI)

4.1 Graphical User Interface

Overview
The user interface is organized around a Menu bar (reference 1), a Status bar (reference 2) and a working
area (reference 3). Working area varies depending on the page in use. A Side bar (reference 4) always
located at the left of the working area indicates in highlight the name of the current page.

In the Web Communicator application, the Menu bar is always present regardless of the displayed page.
Auditorium name, date and time (reference 1) are displayed next to Barco logo. For more details concerning
Auditorium name, please refer to chapter "Network configuration", page 256. For more details concerning date
and time adjustment, please refer to chapter "Internal clock settings", page 172.
The general menu (reference 2) allows to reach all available pages of the application. An overview of the
menu tree is available in section "Application Menu tree", page 55.
Web Commander shortcut (reference 3) allows to run WebCommander, the web application provided by
Barco to control ICMP (Integrated Cinema Media Processor). Only available when the projector is equipped
with an ICMP. For more details please refer to ICMP user guide.
Dashboard shortcut (reference 4) allows to display a dashboard that provide general overview of all projectors
located on the local network. For more details concerning dashboard panel, please refer to "Dashboard", page
52.
User icon (reference 5) located at right is followed by the current user name. Click on this icon to open a short
menu dedicated to account settings and logout. For more details concerning this menu, please refer to
"Modifying account settings (password)", page 49.
