4.2 Starting up

Prerequisites
The device has direct access to the projector LAN via Ethernet cable or Wifi, or it has open access via
Internet.
How to start up
1. Start a web Browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox ...).
2. Set the web application URL provided by the Cinema controller. The HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol
Secure) communication protocol is used for security reasons. The rest of URL is composed by projector
address (e.g. https:// 150.158.252.210). Please refer to the projector's installation manual for more
information concerning the addressing of the cinema controller.
Login page is displayed once the connection with the server is established.

3. Sign in using user name (reference 1) and password (reference 2) then push on Login button (reference
3).
Note: Web Communicator is equipped with an auto logout mechanism that locks the application
after a period of inactivity. Select the "Keep me logged in" checkbox to disable the auto-logout
functionality.
Depending on your rights, more or less parts of the application panels are accessible. For more details,
please see section dedicated to user rights bellow.
