4. Depending on the model, you may need to remove the griddle tray
(see Griddle / Grill Removal and Replacement, page 30) to
provide more room for accessing and removing the light switch
and display module.
5. At the back side of the control panel, pull the light switch out.
Leave its two spade connectors attached unless you are going to
replace the light switch (see Figure 171).
6. Replace oven light switch if needed by detaching the wire
connectors.
7. [If only replacing the button guide]: The button guide can be
removed without removing the display module from the control
panel. From the back of the control panel, use a small screwdriver
to press lightly on the four black standoffs located at the back of
the button board (see Figure 171), and then pull the button guide
out from the front of the control panel.
8. [If removing display module from control panel]: On the
bottom side of the control panel under the display, remove and
retain the two display module screws (Figure 170, page 96).
9. At the back side of the control panel, detach the wire connector
from the display module (see Figure 171).
10. Remove the display module by pulling it over the manifold.
11. Replace display module if necessary, or see the following steps
for removal and replacement of its individual components.
