1. Follow all safety precautions and steps in Preparing the Range for
Servicing, page 25.
2. Remove oven doors (see Oven Door Removal, Installation, and
Alignment, page 110).
3. Remove all the oven racks.
4. Remove and retain the screws from the front cover, and then
remove the front cover.
5. Remove and retain the three screws securing the convection
element onto the reflector cover shield, and then detach the two
wire connectors on from the element terminals.
6. Remove the convection element.
7. Wearing gloves, remove the nut, and then remove the convection
fan. Retain the shim ring if it falls out when removing the fan
(see Figure 201).

8. Remove the reflector cover shield.
9. Remove the ten screws on the rear cover shield, and then pull the
rear cover shield forward (through the oven cavity to remove it.
10. Remove and retain the shim ring from the motor shaft.
11. Remove and retain the bracket insulation (see Figure 202).
