Connection
To configure Hughes/ JVC projectors, do this:
Remove System 8/10 top cover (pg. 6- 1 4). See Fig 6- 1 1; locate the projector RS-232
communications board; set switches and jumpers as listed in table below.

Step 2:
Reinsra.11 System 8/10 top cover.
Configure the System 8/ 10 switcher as a Primary switcher by setting the address switch
Step 3:
as shown in Fig 6.:. 4 , page 6- 3 .
Step 1:
Turn System 8/10 and projector power OFF.
Step 2:
Connect the HU Comm Adapter 9-pin male connector to the 9-pin female "CONTROL
OUT" connector on the rear panel of the projector.
Connect the CC-50' (or CC-100') cable from the 9-pin female connector of the HU
Step 3:
Comm Adapter to the 1 5- p in HD "PROJECTOR CONTROL" port located on the rear
panel of the System 8/10. [Note: If you wish to make your own communications cable
(up to 200 feet in length) , follow the pin-to- p in wiring shown in Fig 6-3.]
Step
Return System 8/10 and projector to normal operation.
