AUDIO CONNECTIONS.
Audi~.,connections can be made using the captive screw terminals in the following ways:

audio switching is required, right and left audio ports are available on both BNC connectors (labeled R
AUDIO and L AUDIO) and on captive 6-terminal screw connectors. BNC audio outputs are available
only when using Composite Video or S-Video sources. An audio level attenuator is located to the right of
each bottb-~ BNC connector for each input channel. These attenuators are used to normalize audio
outputl&;~ls/ . . The attenuators can only decrease (not increase) audio levels. Therefore, level adjustments
should
be
,made with the attenuators initially set
to
the maximum (fully
cw)
position.
The captive connectors are located on the rear panel, just below the BNC connectors. Captive 6-terminal
connectors are labeled "R" (right) and "L" (left) for each channel. When wiring the captive connecto.rs and
jnserting them into the System 8/10 switcher, remember that the screw heads must face down. Use the
, ':following diagrams . t~ wire. the, captive connectors for your audio inputs and outputs.
