. '.fhe System 8/10 switcher connects to, and communicates with, Electrohome projectors in the same
manner as the Electrohome remote Video/Data switchers do.

Turn System 8/10 and projector power OFF; disconnect power cords.
See Fig 6-13. Connect the Electrohome-supplied six BNC-to-10 pin DIN female connec-
tor to the 10-pin DIN male "Input 1" connector located on the projector rear panel.

Connect the orange and white BNC cables from the EL Comm Adapter to the orange
and white BNC cables on the Electrohome-supplied six BNC-to-10-pin DIN female
connector.
Connect the CC-50' (or CC-100') cable from the 9-pin female connector of the EL Comm
Adapter to the 15-pin HD "PROJECTOR CONTROL" port located on the rear panel of
the System 8/10. If you wish, you can fabricate your own communications cables (up to
200 feet in length) using twisted pair cabling. Follow the pin-to-pin wiring shown in Fig
6-3.
Return System 8/10 and projector to normal operation.
Projector Configuration
The Electrohome ECP projector software ver. 3.1 allows you to program the projector slot and input
number to be matched with the input numbers on the system switcher.

Turn projector power ON.
Projector Remote Control ... press "Help" button.
Projector Remote Control ... press "5" to select "Utilities" from the on-screen menu.
Projector Remote Control ... press "1" to select "Channel List" from the on-screen menu.
Projector Remote Control ... using the arrow and number keys, edit the Channel List as
indicated in the table at the right.
Projector Remote Control ... press "Exit."
