8. Remove the Roto-Stop cable from the Roto-Stop left
case.
9. Remove Roto-Stop arm assembly from the Roto-Stop
left case.
10. Remove the Roto-Stop cable cylinder end from the
Roto-Stop arm assembly.
11. Turn the fuel valve to the OFF position, and disconnect
the spark plug cap. Tip the mower on its right side to
prevent:
• Fuel leakage.
• Engine oil from leaking out of the crankcase vent into
the air cleaner and onto the Roto-Stop assembly
when the mower is set back on its wheels.
12. Remove the shutter assembly
13. Remove the Roto-Stop cable ball end from the ball
plate.
14. Press the locking tabs with pliers and release the
Roto-Stop cable from the return spring hook.
15. Cut the cable ties securing the Roto-Stop cable to the
handlebar.
16. Remove the Roto-Stop cable from the cutter housing.
