Parameters
auto — Indicates auto-negotiation

on — Enables flow control.

off — Disables flow control.

Flow control is off.

User Guidelines
Negotiation should be enabled for flow control auto.
Example
In the following example, flow control is enabled on port 1.
Console(config)# interface ethernet 1
Console(config-if)# flowcontrol on
The mdix Interface Configuration (Ethernet) mode command enables
cable crossover on a given interface. To disable cable crossover, use the
no form of this command.
Syntax
mdix {on | auto}
no mdix
Parameters
on — Manual mdix is enabled.

auto — Automatic mdi/mdix is enabled.

The default setting is on.
