Recovering from an Interlock Error

Table: describes causes and solutions for interlock trip errors.
Error Message
One of the operator doors is not properly
closed.
The drip tray is not home.
The shuttle has reached one of its ends of
travel sensors.
Recovering from a Collision Error
Perform the following procedure to recover from a collision error.

Procedure 5-8: How to Recover from a Collision Error

- Step 1: When one collision sensor encounters the media, the shuttle stops immediately and the
Crash Recovery Wizard window automatically pops up.
- Step 2 Click on the Release Media button
from the media. When this command is successful, the Finish button becomes active.
Note: The Roll bar and vacuum commands are available if needed.
- Step 3: Open the operator door and manually remove the media.
Important: In this situation, although the operator door is open, the printer software allows the
vertical movement of the carriage.

Corrective action
• Close both operator doors.
• Lock the drip tray in home position.
• Move the shuttle by hand toward the middle
of the Jeti Tauro H3300LED beam.
• Initialize the printer using the Re-init com-
mand. This will take a few seconds if the inter-
lock tripped while the system was idle and a
few minutes if it was in operation.
