You can monitor and manage the TCX1000-RDM20 by using a dedicated management
channel. Use the management port to connect the TCX1000-RDM20 to a network for
out-of-band management.
NOTE:
You cannot use the management port to perform the initial
configuration of the TCX1000-RDM20. You must configure the management
ports through the console connection before you can successfully connect
to the TCX1000-RDM20 using the management ports. See
