Follow the disconnection
sequence.
Remove the screw 1 and take
off the wiring harness negative
terminal 2 and press to the
front.
Remove the screw 3 and take
off the wiring harness positive
terminal 4.
Connecting battery to
vehicle
ATTENTION
Incorrect battery connection
Danger of short circuit
Follow the installation
sequence.
Position the wiring harness
positive terminal 1 and install
the screw 2.
Position the wiring harness
negative terminal 3 and install
the screw 4.
with M battery OE
ATTENTION
Incorrect battery connection

Position the wiring harness
positive terminal 1 and install
the screw 2.
Position the wiring harness
negative terminal 3 and install
the screw 4.
Installing rider's seat (
with anti-theft alarm system
OE
(DWA)
Turn on the DWA if
necessary.
Charging the battery
Disconnecting battery from
motorcycle ( 194).
Charge battery using a suitable
charger.
Comply with operating instruc-
tions of charger.
Once battery is fully charged,
disconnect charger's terminal
clips from battery terminals.
