Disconnect the connector for
the right-hand turn signal 1.

Feed out the cable for the
right-hand turn signal 1, left-
hand turn signal 2, and license
plate light 3.
Remove screws 1.
Unhook the license-plate car-
rier 1 and remove it in a down-
ward motion.
Carefully thread out the cable.
NOTICE
Use the M Cover Kit from
BMW Motorrad to cover the
resulting opening.
Carefully clip in the tail cowl-
ing 1 on the left and right, first
vertically 2, then horizontally 3.
