Adjustment Procedures
1) Loosen two attaching screws 1. Apply grease to the inside of
presser shaft bushing 4 and the inside of presser shaft guide
3, and fix presser shaft guide 3 to the presser shaft in the
state that no load is applied to presser shaft 2. Then tighten
attaching screws 1.
1) Loosen two setscrews 1 and remove feed bracket 6.
2) Remove E rings 2 and remove knuckle pins 3.
3) Loosen nuts 4 and turn cylinder knuckle 5 to adjust.
4) After the adjustment, tighten nuts 4, place knuckle pins 3
and attach E rings 2.
5) Install feed bracket 6.

Results of Improper Adjustment
™ If the adjustment is not correct,
t h e p r e s s e r s h a f t g u i d e
interferes with the presser shaft
and the presser shaft may fail to
work.
™ If the adjustment of the cylinder
is not correct, the failure of
presser lifting or contact of
components will occur.
